BUILDING PROJECT UPDATE

Dear Parishioners,

The County of San Diego Department of Land Use and Planning has approved our building project. I wish to thank all of you for your prayers and support. It was a team effort which resulted in a favorable decision.

Although our project approval is a significant development, it is only the beginning of a long process. In light of our diocese's financial situation, we may have a lot to reconsider regarding our building plans. We also need to remain sensitive to the needs of our neighbors who are concerned that our building project may adversely affect their quality of living. We must make every effort to preserve the peace and harmony of our neighborhood. To address these and other issues, I will be calling for a town hall meeting soon after I meet with the Pastoral, Finance and Building Councils.

Please continue to pray for God's guidance as we fine-tune our building plans for the good of all.
